SIPAM FITS PITCH 2026 TIMELINE: Open Call for Proposals

SIPAM invites artists, performing arts collectives, and companies to submit their proposals for SIPAM PITCH 2026.

SIPAM FITS PITCH is a curated initiative within FITS / SIPAM, conceived to elevate artistic visibility, advance international mobility, and cultivate substantive professional dialogue in the performing arts.

Following the submission period, a selection committee will identify ten proposals to showcase at the Sibiu International Performing Arts Market in June 2026. The committee comprises distinguished leaders in the field, representing prestigious festivals from China, Japan, Norway, Romania, the UK, and the USA. The names of the selection panel will be announced once the submission window closes.

Selection Criteria

Selected proposals will embody:

* A bold and compelling artistic vision
* Contemporary relevance and resonance
* Clear potential for international touring, co-production, and collaboration


PITCH 2026 Timeline

Proposal Submission - January 21 - April 30, 2026 (through application form only)

Selection Committee Lineup Revealed - Monday, May 2 (SIPAM, newsletter)

Selected Projects Announced - Friday, May 15 (email, website, newsletter)

Orientation Meeting with Selected Projects - Week od may 18 (via Zoom)

PITCH PROJECT 2026 Presentation - Monday, June 22 (in person)
